Antony's Garden in winter

keeping a garden too neat and tidy may look perfect and manicured but personally I like a garden to have a bit more personality.

Some may say that it could be an excuse for being a bit lazy but our garden at home looks amazing when we get a cold snap such as this weekend!

The perennials that I left in autumn take on a whole new appeal in the frost and snow. The other bonus is that creatures in the garden and birds can rummage about looking for sleeping insects and seeds plus the ground is never as frozen when the soil is protected by old foliage.

I will cut this all back at the end of February or early March and will show you how later.
